My name is Roger Parker and I want to be the State House
Representative from
the great county of Alamance. (
District 63 ) (Times News article)
Over the next several months, I will be meeting with as many people
as possible.
I will do everything I can to earn your trust and your vote, to
elect me to the North Carolina House. I am a Republican, but I'm a
Conservative first and I need the support of all the people of
Alamance county, no matter what party affiliation.
My conservative friends in Raleigh have made great strides in just
one year, but there is much work to be done.
A majority of the citizens of District 63 have not had their
conservative values represented in Raleigh in a number of years.
I pledge to you, when elected, I will remember that I work for you
and all my decisions will be based on Conservative values.

CUT TAXES

The Liberals in Raleigh raised your taxes in
2009 by more than $1 Billion dollars.

Action: |
Reduce Income taxes which are the highest in the
southeast and puts us at a competitive disadvantage |

JOB CREATION: |
By Reducing Taxes it will help create jobs and
get our hard working families back to work. |

2.
CUT SPENDING |

Issue: |
Spending is out of control in Raleigh. |

Action: |
Working with my fellow conservatives in Raleigh,
we will cut spending. |

Republicans identified over $600 million in
spending cuts that were not approved.
With a conservative majority those cut would
have been implemented. |

BALANCE BUDGET |

Issue: |
In business, I was always held accountable for
the Budgets I created. Why are our State Legislatures not held to the same
standard? If we performed so poorly in private business, we'd be fired !
That's exactly what we need to do with the irresponsible legislators in Raleigh
FIRE THEM !!! |

Work to create a Balanced Budget and achieve
that Budget without Raising Taxes |

I will support all of our Law Enforcement
agencies

We need to stop the ‘watering
down’ of our laws. Support Victim’s Rights.
Too often they are getting lost in
the paperwork. |

Return discipline to our public schools

Strengthen our Community Colleges |

Promote growth of more Charter Schools |
