Mebane, NC---Roger Parker, candidate for N.C. House District
63, has decided to suspend campaign.
"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the decision to
suspend my campaign for election to the N.C. House of
Representatives, District 63. This
decision comes after much reflection, prayer, and
consultation with family and friends.
My wife and
family helped keep me focused and upbeat during this time
and that means more than anything.
To my friends, who also worked the polls, walked the
neighborhoods, made phone calls and donated to my
campaign….THANK YOU!”
"It has been an honor to represent the conservative ideals
of individual liberty, limited government and family values.
Ronald Reagan once said that "freedom is never more
than one generation away from extinction.
We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream.
It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for
them to do the same...." I decided to run for public office
to preserve freedom for the next generation.
Our children and grandchildren are counting on us to
fight the good fight for liberty, and I want to encourage my
fellow conservatives to continue to do so."
